Ines presents herself:

Hi,
My name is Ines. I am 13 years old.
I live in Linz, which is a famous city in Austria. Linz isn’t big, but it’s a
beautiful little place where you can do whatever you want. I live there
with my family, which means with my mother, my father and my older
sister. My sister’s name is Sarah and she is nearly 17. I’ve got another
older sister, Nadja, but she is 30 years old and lives in Vienna. So, back
to our home. We have been living in a flat near the city center for 10
years. I love to live there.
In my leisure time, I often play tennis. I have been doing this since I was
seven years old and I really like it. I almost like doing any kind of sport.
Except skiing. I hate it. It’s not because I don’t know how to ski, ( even
though I know that I am really untalented in it..) no, it’s just because I
hate the winter. In Austria it’s always really cold in the months from
October till December. You have to wear warm clothes, also a scarf and
thick boots. I hate to do all this.
I don’t have any favourite subjects in school. I like English and biology is
quite interesting… So I don’t dislike school I am just a bit tired of
learning, like almost everyone , but I am always looking forward to seeing
my friends. A subject I hate is swimming. I just think it’s unnecessary,
‘cause everyone knows how to swim.
I have no idea which job I want to choose one day. I want to do some
social, where I can work together with other people. What I don’t want to
be is a doctor. I just think it will not be the right job for me. So I don’t
know it now but I also don’t have to.
But I know that I want to move away from Austria. Whenever. Sure
Austria is a fabulous country but I rather want to live in the USA or in
Great Britain, for example.
I want to see the whole world. I want to see the homeless in Africa, the
stars in Hollywood, the Statue of Liberty, the moose in Sweden and much
more! Perhaps I am going to travel round the world when I am older.
